ProtAIomics first Winter School
This training pairs hands-on structural proteomics with communication and translational skills: participants learn how to leverage structural information for functional insights—covering experimental techniques for structure-focused proteomics and AI-assisted computational analysis—while integrating multi-source evidence (splicing variants, point mutations, molecular interactions, allostery) for applications in drug design and docking. A practical science-communication workshop trains DCs to translate complex projects for broad audiences using clear storytelling and presentation techniques, culminating in a public Barcelona Science Slam. Finally, an interactive introduction to translational research guides DCs through clinical-trial checkpoints via role-play from basic research and clinical viewpoints.
