ProtAIomics second Summer School

TUM

Coordinated by TUM in Munich, this training blends cross-disciplinary collaboration with best practices for trustworthy AI in proteomics. In the WP Cross-fertilization Workshop, DCs convene to exchange methods and perspectives across all work packages, identify opportunities to merge innovations, and define concrete actions to translate network findings into AI-powered proteomics solutions. The companion “Reproducible and FAIR AI in Proteomics” module is a hands-on, critical-thinking lab where DCs apply the DOME standards—spanning Data (e.g., leakage), Optimization (e.g., overfitting), Model (algorithm and architecture choice), and Evaluation (baseline comparisons)—to plan, execute, assess, and lead robust ML projects in biology.
