ProtAIomics third Summer School
This training weaves together three complementary strands—career development, research communication, and emerging media—into a practical, skills-focused experience. Participants learn to craft a strengths-aligned career plan, expand and activate professional networks, and communicate their value through effective self-marketing and transferable skills. They also level up their scientific writing and visual storytelling, gaining a clear grasp of the publication process and the design principles needed to produce crisp, publication-ready figures that enhance readability and impact. Finally, the programme explores gameful design and XR/VR: how interactive and immersive technologies shape behavior, and how they can be leveraged for research, training, outreach, and public engagement. By the end, DCs leave with a concrete career roadmap, sharper communication outputs, and a toolkit for using modern media to amplify their science within and beyond academia.
